A 65% Chance

The other day when I was checking the weather I mentioned to the kids that I was pretty sure Punxsutawney Phil would be seeing his shadow this year. Since it was due to snow in so many places. Yes, (heavy sigh that I really should not be doing considering we live in a farming community that really needs moisture come summer) once again it is snowing...again. But we are all crossing our fingers for just a few inches instead of 8.
Anyway apparently our good old friendly groundhog, Phil, has 65% accuracy on his weather predictions.

We ate pasta for dinner one night and I think all the kids asked me to take their picture...except Lilli (She doesn't like people to see what she eats).

Many years ago in my first year of college I met a very silly girl that would do this little "gum on her teeth" deal during sacrament meeting in our student ward. A lot of laughing went on. So when Carmen did this it took me back down memory lane and I had to capture the moment (and of course text it to that very silly girl!)
Um...yeah
A massive pile of snow...lots of these around these days.
So for my birthday last year (I know...that was 11 months ago) I got this mini mushroom farm. We finally got around to getting it set up.
Lilli was super excited to see the mushroom growing...she insisted we name it. Yup, she named it "Steve." (Same as our little snowman friend this winter!) Well then Steve had another one grow up next to him, so the girls decided it was his wife and that her name was.....something....can't quite remember. It might have been Ellie.

Oh and this has nothing to do with anything...but I am IN LOVE with heated seats. My friend and I drove out to our monthly bookclub (aka social hour(s). Her husband was concerned about the roads so he told her to take his truck. It was about a 20 minute drive to our other friends house and in the 40 minutes total in this truck I was so happy! It was hard to get in my car and drive the five minutes home on a cold seat...
