A Sunday Drive

We took a drive after church to visit the grave of Rebecca Winters.

We also took a little stop at the historical roadside stop for Chimney Rock.

We also discovered a monument made for the pony express. We love our history!

Carmen had an awesome solar system project. We all learned a lot. Carmen takes her school work very seriously and this project was no exception. She spent tons of time pouring over information she got at school and plenty of internet searches with Dad to learn all she needed to know.
Jared still loves climbing fire hydrants! It finally warmed up and melted enough snow that we could walk the kids home from school again.
A few weeks ago Nadia made herself a bed in a box and then fell asleep. SO cute. I love that she put her shoes right next to her "bed." Hard to believe that this little cute girl will be 4 next month!

Oh and in other news...I am a new Aunt!!!! Isn't she just the cutest thing?
