Several days after we arrived we found out Eric's job was not actually starting on October 1st...the office they wanted him to have is not actually opening until November 18th. Yeah, not the news you want to hear when you have planned a cross country move around a specific date. We were a little frustrated we didn't know sooner so we could have just stayed in Spokane with a free place to stay and Eric could have done per diem work there. Oh well.
Since we had all this time on our hands we took a few drives to check out the scenery...

All around a great time, but then again, isn't Cabela's always that way?
We have decided that Mt. Rainier has this unique ability to hide, it's enormous, but it's very hard to actually see it! I was trying to get a picture but it would be behind a tree, a business, a billboard and so I would have the camera out ready to snap as soon as we got past all those things, but it would just be...well...gone!
But we did see the google car!!

Today we also had our Primary Sacrament Meeting program. Lilli did SO well with her line "the scriptures are the word of God" I have to admit after seeing that and then listening to the children sing I was dashing away a few little tears. What an amazing spirit the primary songs bring that's for sure!
