Lilli turned four!!! Ahhhhh, it honestly seems like just a blink since I was holding this sweet little chubby girl in my arms and having my first experience as a mom.
We love Lilli so much, she is a great big sister and a good helper. She is also extremely feisty, which makes for very interesting days around the house. She loved cartoons, princesses and fairies, and will wear a dress everyday while carrying around her purse with chapstick and pretend makeup....then the other side of her will wrestle with her Dad and climb trees like crazy! (And let me add, she has an awesome laugh!! I will have to get it on the camera sometime so you can all hear!)

Lilli's Sunbeam teacher gave her a birthday present, but she didn't want Carmi to feel left out so she got something too! We love Sister Kutzer and we miss her already :(

We let the girls open their presents as soon as we got home from church on the 11th.

Notice Carmi's face, (and lack of clothing) yes, beloved spaghetti stains and this is why...
About three weeks before Lilli's birthday I sat her down with my recipe book to decide what she wanted for her birthday. Breakfast and lunch were easy, waffles and chicken nuggets. She finally decided on barbecued chicken for dinner, I guess the picture looked tasty! Well the day I was going grocery shopping we had gone into Philly and stopped to eat on our way back. We gave Lilli a taste of barbecue sauce and she HATED it!! So I quickly decided to just make her spaghetti with meat sauce which is always a winner at our house. I sure am glad we had her try the bbq sauce beforehand or it might have been a disaster!
Lilli had also been asking for an ice cream cake for the past two months, which didn't take any convincing at all!!

I made homemade strawberry ice cream, which is easier then buying some and letting it thaw out. We had it with Angel Food Cake. Yum!!

Trying to get Lilli to hold up four fingers...
