Maybe Carmi is like her Dad, always contemplating how she is going to own a small country...
Amazing how Lilli's feet are perfectly lined up so it looks like she has only one!
After about 10 minutes of silence this is what Lilli and I found...
The picture isn't the best quality, but the look on her face is just priceless!
Just cause she's such a silly billy gum drop!
I guess by definition Jared is what most would call a "colicky" baby, never ending crying for no apparent reason. I have finally come to the conclusion that he is just a people person, he likes to be with us and not by himself in the other room. He also has this inner sensor that goes off immediately when he is laid down in his bed. He will sleep for hours if I hold him, but the minute I lay him down it takes ten minutes or less for him to start crying. (But then he does better when I lay him down in the very noisy living room where the girls are usually laughing and chasing each other around quite loudly, and Eric is watching Aussie Rules football or World Wrestling Entertainment.. and what's amazing is that he sleeps through it all!)When the girls were fussy and tired I would wrap them up in a nice swaddle and they would go back to sleep in less then a minute..not this little guy. I suppose I got really spoiled with what a great sleeper Carmi was...but then maybe those first few weeks with Carmi are a little vague! Talk to me again in another month..or two when Jared has things figured out and I'm sure I won't be offering the ramblings of a sleep deprived mind...
I'm telling you, those extra three lbs that made him a "full size baby" are all stored in that chin!
Finally got a picture of him with those eyes opened. He has really dark eyes and we can't tell what color they are yet, exactly how Lilli's were. Lilli's brown eyes finally surfaced when she was about 4 months old.
Yep, still looking like a Turnidge!
And on a totally different note...Eric rode his bike to work 4 days last week..and loved it! His co-workers are excited about it too, asking him "did you bike in today?" I'm sure it would make his cardiologist happy as well! (In a nutshell, we found out about three months ago that Eric has a genetic defect in his aorta. He doesn't have as many valves as you are supposed to have.
