We took a little trip down to Cheyenne, WY for Free Comic Book Day. (Our little town doesn't have this type of store). We had a great time walking around town, visiting plenty of gaming stores and seeing all sorts of cool costumes.
Our first stop was at the very impressive Laramie County Library (Huge, and they even have their own cafe!) We ran into pikachu while we were there.
Outside the library there was a statue of a paperboy and his dog. Jared and Nadia both had to stop and kiss the dog.
At another store we ran into Wonder Woman (Carmen was especially excited for that!)
We also ran into Briar Rose's sister.
I didn't get pictures at our third stop. But there were all sorts of people in costumes there. Including another wonder woman, a Storm Trooper (I thought it was cool, but the kids were tired of taking pictures so I guess I'll wait until next year), and lots of people dressed up like police officers and soldiers...
One of the store employees (I am guessing) really liked Nadia, so she walked her around and got filled her bag with all sorts of stuff. It was fun.
We stopped by the Cheyenne Depot Museum. They had an old train signal there, it was pretty cool.
