And those four years were very interesting. I think Jared saw more action in the first year of his life then any of the other kids. Jared was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. When he was four months old we moved to Tacoma, Washington. And we arrived in Kansas City the day before he turned 1. Whew.
He sure is an awesome little boy.
Here are a few things about him:
He loves yellow
He loves tractors (Specifically John Deere)
He loves spiderman, spongebob, and daniel tiger's neighborhood (a spinoff from Mr Rogers Neighborhood)
He loves playing outside, rain or shine
He is an amazing walker. He and Eric take two-three mile walks together all the time.
He loves farm animals, especially puppies and "sheeps"
He loves reading. He will sit and listen to me read for an hour
He is just sweet. He likes to give me a big hug and say I love you when I tuck him in at night. He also likes to "hide" under a blanket to go to sleep.
One morning when he was the first one up he made everyone oatmeal in the microwave. That's right, 6 bowls, and they were all perfect!
Sitting next to Jared is our next door neighbor, Jared's best buddy. He's a super nice kid that plays with all my kids even though he's in 7th grade this coming school year!
We made a triple layer lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. I didn't take a close up picture because it's an extremely unattractive sponge bob cake. But it tasted awesome. One of these days I am planning on taking a cake decorating class and then I'll start showing more cakes!
