I'm pretty sure that as a general rule all kids love cookies right?! I've always loved peanut butter no bake cookies so I introduced the kids to them finally when we were in Tacoma. Of course they loved them, all that chocolatey goodness.......the perfect combination of ingredients. Well in WA it took FOREVER for them to set up, I think one time they didn't at all so we ate them with spoons. Well here in KC you have to get them onto the pan super fast because they set up in less then five minutes. Well a few weeks ago Lilli asked if we could make "peanut butter cookies" well I assumed she meant the kind you baked, so that's what I made. They were yummy of course but I couldn't figure out why she got so upset when she saw what I was mixing together. Finally after she calmed down she told me she wanted the kind of peanut butter cookies you make on the stove. Ohhhhh, I see. So several days later I made some with her, and then a week or so later the kids asked if we could make them again. Yeah. I'm weak. No wonder I'm not exactly at my ideal weight! Anyway there is a song you can find it on youtube, it's cookie monster singing "C is for cookie, that's good enough for me...." the kids LOVE this song, especially Carmi!

I admit, I have let them have them for breakfast maybe once or twice. I know, I'm bad!
Just a cute shot of the kids, well I guess that's everyone except Nadia.
Eric brought some paper home from work, you know the kind in big sheets. Lilli took a piece and made herself some "wings" unfortunately this whole flying thing took a wrong turn when Carmi decided she wanted to "fly" off the fireplace, and fell right on the corner of a brick. For all the bleeding it did (and the heart attack her Mother nearly had) it was actually a very minor little scrape right at the base of her neck.
Carmi loves Nadia so much!! The other night we were all outside and I sat Nadia on the boppy on the porch swing while we were in the yard. Carmi asked me where Nadia was, and without giving me the chance to tell her kinda freaked out a little. She is a cute little Mommie, so is Lilli and Jared, they all love to pick out clothes for her to wear and Jared likes to sit there and hold her hand.
Jared has pretty much stopped taking naps, but every once in a while he will fall asleep in a random place. These two pictures were taken during Sunday dinners, the only problem is that he falls asleep with food in his mouth. The last time he started falling asleep I got him to spit out his food, but then that woke him up. I guess it's comforting knowing it's there...or something.
