We were all getting in the car getting ready to go to the park.
Mom: Lilli, we're going to get Jared a car seat that looks a lot like Carmi's.
Lilli: What about me?
Mom: You get to use your seat until you turn 8. {Lilli interrupts with a frustrated: ohh.}
Well then you won't need it anymore and you can sit wherever there is an empty seat in whatever car we happen to be driving by then. (That answer seemed to satisfy her.)
Lilli: Mom we're going to have another baby huh, another baby in your tummy.
Mom: Yes, eventually, maybe next year sometime. (No, this is not a hint!!!)
Lilli: Lets get a purple car!
Mom: I like red better.
Lilli:Okay, I like red too.
Mom: Lilli, do you want a baby brother or sister?
Lilli: I want a sister
Mom: But shouldn't we have a brother for Jared?
Lilli: No
Mom: Well then what should we name her?
Lilli: Sleeping Beauty.
I love this girl!
