The girls did awesome on the 8 hour drive, they must have some of that Turnidge traveling blood in them. Lilli had fun eating plenty of treats and playing with her teddy bear and baby. She only had one meltdown, and that was on the drive down about half an hour before we got there. On the way back we took three or four 15-20 minute breaks and it really made a difference.
We took the PA turnpike down there, but after paying a $20 dollar toll we decided to take a different way back so we came up through Gettysburg. It was a nice drive, I really enjoyed seeing a lot of rural Pennsylvania.
Carmen and Aunt Amanda
Paul and Amanda have a squirrel feeder, Lilli had a blast watching them eat.
Mmm, olives on the fingers! A classic thanksgiving tradition.
Rural Pennsylvania, not to far from Gettysburg.
This was Carmen during most of the driving!
Mmm, nothing like food to keep your little ones happy!
Paul and Amanda go to church next door to the temple! Lucky them!
Uncle Paul, Aunt Amanda, Carmen and Lilli (What a nice looking couple don't you think! I can't wait to see what their children look like!)
Gratitude Attitude:
I am grateful for Columbus and the Pilgrims, they had a lot of courage and faith and we are all blessed because they were willing to seek out the unknown.
