A Learning Experience for Lilli

Lilli learned today that not all chocolate floats over your tongue when eaten! She found my little stash of baking chocolate and took a few nibbles. She brought it to me when she realized it definately wasn't a delectable bar that she was hoping for.

Mmm, maybe this is a sign that I should make the recipe I have for chocolate bread!

I guess it wasn't all bad! She still has a smile :)

Our little chubbers Carmen is now in a size 3 diaper, those rolls on her legs are just soo cute though! Anyway, after massive blowouts the past several weeks I realized it wasn't just a typical spurt in the wrong direction. So I brought up some extras from this spring when Lilli finally grew out of them (yes, my 4 month old is very close to wearing the same size as her sister!) and sure enough, it fit just right.
Well I'm always trying to test things over and over, so I thought I would try the size 2 one more time, and of course Carmen had a massive blowout.
She had a onsie on under her little jumper and when I took the jumper off there was that enormous patch of poo on her back (poor thing) Lilli was sitting right there and the minute she saw it this is exactly what she said (and I understood every word!) "Wow! That's stinky!" I thought it was pretty funny, and proved to me again that my stubborn first born really can talk when she wants to!

In other news...I have a couple of really cute pictures of the girls together, but Carmen has some serious red eye. The photo program we have(the gimp-awful name I know) is a little more challenging then I am used to, I spent all day today trying to get rid of the red eye..with no luck. I will post the pictures after a little tutoring from Eric..or unless I have a super baby who can look at my shoulder instead of directly at the camera!

A few days later:
My gratitude attitude: I am thankful for music in my life. It adds so much. Being the ward organist helps me feel the spirit so much stronger!

That is a great lesson to learn at a young age! Of course I think we keep learning that over and over. "Some things just aren't as good as they look!" I love your stories and life experiences!I love music too! Especially the hymns. Being organist for Relief-Society has stretched me, but I sure have been playing the hymns a lot more. It's great!
