November? Really?

I must say I can't complain, this weather is so enjoyable and Lilli is a happy camper when she spends time outside.
The other day we crammed a load of laundry (and both girls!) into the stroller and took a little walk to the laundry, with a stop at the park while waiting for the dryer. Then another one for an hour on our way home. We had the park to ourselves which was a lot of fun. When we got home we spent another hour outside "retiring" the garden. I pulled up all the old bushes and plants and harvested the rest of the cilantro, and of course Lilli made short work of the remaining cherry tomatoes. We also got a handful of jalapeƱo peppers. I have plans to make a delicious taco soup, and probably chili as well.
Luckily Eric and I were both wrong on our penny bet for how long the strike would last. It ended on Monday, what a relief!
My little Carmen has discovered her t.h.u.m.b. AHHHH, I don't know how Eric knew this would happen but he predicted it long ago. I'll get an updated picture of Carmen next post. She is a strong little girl, she tries really hard to sit up and is starting to roll a little bit. If Eric is holding her he gives her his hand and she can actually pull herself up.

Trippy shot..

mmm, I now have a freezer full of cilantro to last all winter! (If we have a winter, haha)

Oh yeah, I know how to put a stroller to good use! After a little maneuvering we got Lilli's legs under Carmen's arms and they were both very comfortable. Not to mention a good workout for me!

Speaking of a good workout, I have finally found a groove! I am hoping to get this baby weight off a little quicker then the 12 months for Lilli. I have actually been playing dance dance revolution daily! Such fun! Lilli makes herself a little mat out of blankets and plays along with me.

My Gratitude Attitude: I am grateful for the wonderful SEASONS that we have to enjoy! I love the fun of summer, crisp air and beautiful colors of fall, a quiet world of white in the winter, and of course springtime with all those baby animals and blooming of tulips!

It is so fun to hear how you guys are doing!! We miss you. Kaylyn doesn't sit up yet. But she will stand if you hold her hands and keep her balance for her. She walks around the house in her walker. And she rolled over at 3 weeks. She was so shocked she did it--she was upset. And that is an adorable picture of Lilly!! Enjoy the weather for us. We are moving into to cold to play outside for long--freezing type weather. We are even suppose to have snow today.
