We took a little day trip to Mt. Rushmore, since it's only 3 hours away.

When we got to Mt. Rushmore they wanted $11 just to park and look. We decided to be cheap and took a side shot. We also drove over and took a peek at the Crazy Horse Monument. It's being made by a private company and isn't done yet. But we will definitely check that out at some point.

We stopped to relax at this gorgeous lake. There were a lot of people fishing and this super nice lady let the kids each throw the stick in the water for her dog to catch.
