We made it through month 1! Now for the last three and then our family will be together again.
I have amazing kids who have really stepped up and helped their flustered Mom get through the days. Lilli is my little Mom #2. What a great girl! Carmen and Nadia hug me every day and Jared is most definitely the man of the house!
We have an amazing ward who has taken care of us. We've had a ride to church every Sunday that Eric has been gone. We've had help running errands. And countless offers of "be sure to call if you need something." I love these people!
I had a really great conversation with several ladies one Sunday at church that helped my perspective. Each of us, and our children, were prepared beforehand for the challenges of life. I know that's true! This has been more difficult then anything else I've done, but I feel at peace with the whole situation.
I saw this one morning after Jared and Nadia had been playing. It made me really happy.
It's a real challenge for me to get Lilli to smile on camera.
Another winning smile!
This little snuggle girl. She's a diva, she thinks everything is "mine" and her needs/wants must come first...well that's what she thinks. But despite all that she is completely adorable. Gives the best hugs, and she will also rub your back.
Carmen...at least I think so...
So I've mentioned Jared and his "blankies" before. (Yes, that is plural!) Well I finally convinced him to let me sew them all together into one big blankie. I guess he realized that he had gotten to tall for all of them!
