We decided instead of cooking a massive dinner we would keep it simple with fondue. It was delicious!
But we definitely learned a few things that we will change next Christmas.
We decided to do the three courses you usually get at the melting pot.
The cheese was a huge hit (it was pretty awesome). Then we waited for several hours for the meat. But the kids were so full from the cheese that nobody wanted any. (So we put it away and made a nice pressure cooker stew the following Sunday).
Several hours later we decided that the chocolate would be waiting for the following day.
Mmmmm.
The leftover chocolate was used for a batch of chocolate dipped pretzels.
And that is how you gain weight on Christmas. The End. :)
