We Took a Drive...A Long One!

At the end of June we drove to Utah for my brother Marvin's wedding. We decided to drive straight, no stopping, just to see if we could do it. We left home at 7:30 on a Thursday morning, and arrived in Utah at midnight. It was a long day.The kids did AMAZING!!!!!!
A lot of sleeping
A lot of liquids were consumed.

A lot of cool looks...
A lot of dazed expressions...
A smile from sweet Carmi, even though she was hit pretty hard with a severe case of motion sickness. We've never had this problem before, but next time I will be prepared!
A LOT of fun with Grandma and Grandpa. (Nadia really did have fun, I promise!)

My sister told me to be sure and remember to put sunscreen on the kids...which I forgot between all the visiting. But remembered before the hottest part of the day. So I have three children with some serious farmer tans from being outside all day! (But luckily no severe sunburns, for which I am grateful)

Jared is by far my best traveler. Maybe it's because he learned so young. We drove from Pennsylvania to Tacoma when he was four months old....
Jared also had a small bout of motion sickness. By the end of the drive he was completely naked due to not being able to reach clean clothes.

Anyway..here is the happy couple:
Marvin and Arie. They were married in the Vernal LDS Temple on June 21, 2014. They are such a sweet couple and it was a beautiful wedding. I cried, cause well, that's what I do. I love being in the temple with my family.

Eric, Marvin, My Dad, my brother in law's Devin and Paul. Gosh, I sure love them all. Unfortunately my sister Janae and brother in law Richard were unable to come. They are currently living in California where Richard is completing some Army training.
