What to do when the rain doesn't stop...
I think the last little while I have been able to closely relate to those on Noah's ark! It has rained....and rained....and rained...we went for about two weeks with NO SUN. It has just been incredibly cold, windy, and just plain dreary. So the day the sun came back my poor little head just couldn't handle it, and I spent the next three days with a severe migraine, one of which I have never experienced before. Yes. I LOVE the temperate climate we have here and the fact that there is no winter, in fact, there are a lot of things I love about the great northwest. But sometimes you need to see the sun more then once a week...
Anyway, things have improved the last four days, the sun came out, it warmed up into the 50's, only rained a couple hours a day the last few days (and the weather channel predictions were dead wrong five days in a row!!YES!!!)
Plus a trip to the temple always makes everything better. Thanks to our wonderful friend Sara for making that possible. This amazing woman watched our kids, plus her little girl for half the day so Eric and I could go.
