This has been Eric's baby of the past few weeks. It was quite the project, he built the entire thing from scratch, cutting out the wood pieces...gluing them together...covering it with paper. The cool thing is that once he's done this will actually fly!

Carmen learned about reverence yesterday at church! She was NOT happy to not be allowed to run around. After crying in the foyer, and whining in Sunday school class she realized we were serious so she fell asleep through the last half of SS, and all of Relief Society. It was nice that she learned so quickly, this would not have worked with Lilli at this age!
Her newest word is "night night" which is accompanied with the little finger wave. It's the cutest thing ever!

Lilli LOVES bread dough! So far she hasn't had a bout of the nasty sour stomach caused by the yeast...:)

Lilli decided literally overnight that she no longer needed my help in the potty! I was actually pretty excited about it, no more sitting next to her holding her hand. (or having her ask me to wipe her bum!)The only thing she needs is a little help reaching the sink to wash her hands.
Sunday was the first day this happened. She said toward the end of sacrament meeting that she needed to go. I walked into the stall with her as usual and she seriously ordered me out! She asked me to stand outside and hold the stall door shut. It was pretty funny, I was very taken aback and thought it was just a random occurrence that would happen once. But then she did it again after church. And all day today! Whatever caused it I have no idea...but I'm totally okay with it!

Thursday we are headed to Columbus, OH for a large and delicious feast with my family! My sister Janae and her husband and daughter are coming from Lexington, KY. And my parents are coming from Utah for a very special occasion (not just a delicious feast!):

My sister Amanda, doesn't she look awesome!! The very first GRANDSON on the Evans side of the family!! We are all super excited! He's due this coming Saturday..it will be interesting to see when he makes his appearance!
And to make things even more exciting...my sister Janae is also having a boy...due in January! My parents will have doubled their number of grandchildren by the beginning of May 2011.
Now to add a little more to the Boy stuff:
This is what happened with our little one (due May 2nd). I scheduled my ultra sound and thought it would be about right to know if it was a boy or girl. Unfortunately it was several weeks to early to tell..but their were still a few signs, just nothing completely obvious. The tech told us he was positive it's a boy..but couldn't give the official word because..well..it's just to early. So we'll double check sometime in the next few months and make sure it's a boy! (And then I can get rid of my two bins of little girl clothes!)
It will be fun to have three boy cousins all the same age. :)
