I've always thought a lot about how thin the veil is for our little ones and wondered if they see and sense things that we miss sometimes as adults (or just forget with all the adult responsibilities we have).
Today at church we were sitting by a good friend, this Sister is completely amazing! I have learned so much from her. When she was introduced to the church 18 years ago she put down her cigarette and never picked it up again. She's the one in Relief Society that is always sharing experiences she has had sharing the gospel, she always reminds me that we should take every opportunity to share our testimonies, even to people not of our faith. Even now as she is slowly dying of emphysema and is in a wheelchair she continually wants to help other people and share her love of the gospel. She has NEVER given up, what a great example she is of enduring to the end. Sister Cecelia Bastian is one of those sweet people I will always remember!
As we were sitting there in sacrament meeting Carmen just sat there smiling at her, then she leaned over and just laid her head on this Sisters arm and grabbed her hand. My little girl seems to have a special gift for recognizing special kindred spirits and knowing the hearts of many people.
We also have a good friend who's daughter has down-syndrome. We sat next to them in Sunday School today. Once again, Carmen sat there smiling at this young lady like she could see right into her heart and know how pure she is.
What amazing things we are reminded of by the little ones around us. All the little children I have associated with have taught me something. What a spirit they bring to all of us.

I loved reading your random thoughts on this!Love Mother
You're prob. right they know more than we do. How silly we must seem to them for not seeing all they see.
