Lilli and Carmi were able to participate in a play! Twice a year the Missoula Children's Theatre comes to town and puts together a play in 4 days. (Crazy busy, but the shows are always awesome)
In order to let lots of kids participate they had the children born in odd years try out this play, and then in the spring the children with even birthdays will be in it. They have "tryouts" mainly to see what part the kids get. Everyone gets in. I think most of the time they even have parts that they cut.
Wiz of the West is a western take on The Wizard of Oz. Lilli and Carmi were buzzards (western version of the flying monkeys)
It was a REALLY busy week, but lots of fun.
There is a fair amount of down time while the kids wait for their time on stage. Lilli was telling me that the buzzards had to wait on the ramp going up to the stage, she said when she was really bored she would stick her beak through the handrail (I laughed really hard!)
