 I tried really hard to do a selfie....not really my thing is it? (snicker)

 So our school district did a fundraiser for the American Heart Association...

 I agreed to let the kids sign up with the idea we would take them each to a few houses on our street to collect donations. Yeah...that didn't happen so I ended up writing them each a check so they could get their cute little necklaces with a character. It's for a good cause so it's all good I suppose.

Eric and I decided this next school year we are going to ask our PTO what their goal of fundraising is for each child and just write out a check right then and avoid all fundraisers. Especially Dominoes Pizza Night. Not good for cholesterol levels or hips/waistline eh?
Oh and Carmen challenged me to eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal.
Lilli challenged me to a one hour workout 4 days a week. I'm proud to say that I have been doing that for the last two weeks.
Jared challenged me to drink water instead of juice/soda.

 Carmen lost two teeth within a few days of each other. One was lost at school so she got the coveted treasure box. Eric and I decided we wanted to be honest with our children when it comes to Santa, the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny...etc. So instead of me sneaking into her room to play tooth fairy Carmen handed me her tooth and I handed her the going rate of a tooth. Very nice setup for me :)

So this morning when Jared got up he said he had a tummy ache so he stayed home from school. (I think it may have been the type of tummy ache that is code for "I don't want to go") But I didn't want to fight that battle today. He and Nadia have had a good day together.
