Lilli turned 7 on September 12th. With her very sincere love of turtles she asked for a turtle themed birthday. So that's what she got!!
Unfortunately she got sent home from school sick on Thursday, and they have a rule that you can't return until you've been 24 hours with a normal no tylenol temperature. So she got to stay home with us for her birthday, which I didn't mind a bit!
We used nutter butters to make it's appendages. The cake is
Peanut Butter Chocolate chip. The original recipe was Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Cake from Marcel Desaulniers
the chef who authored "Death by Chocolate" very tasty indeed.
I have to admit I thought it turned out SO cute!
Lilli with her turtle pajama pants, turtle blanket, giant stuffed sea turtle...
She requested Applebee's for her dinner.
What a terrific girl she is! I sure love her.
She's super organized and works hard at everything she does. She is a great big sister and good helper to me. I love taking her grocery shopping because I push the cart and she does everything else!
