Lilli had been asking to go to a pumpkin patch for several weeks so we decided to make the trip. It was the last day they were opened so there weren't tons of people, plus the weather was perfect, much warmerthen you would expect for October 29th but chilly enough to fit the experience!
We took a train ride.
Snapping a few pictures while we waited for everyone to get on.
Cheese!
There were tons of little photo ops like this for the girls to enjoy
Totally random for a pumpkin patch, but they had a sand pit where you could dig for all sorts of interesting things. Jared LOVED digging around in the sand and playing in it.
A shot of the train.
Bibidi, bobidi boo!
Just another family moment...
We took a wagon ride out to the fields to pick out pumpkins.
Carmi enjoyed rolling around.
She finally sat down so I could see her face.
Lilli was just overjoyed to be surrounded by pumpkins!
They had a lot of small animals in cages for everyone to look at.
Rabbits, pigs, ducks..etc.
A giant rocking chair
The girls got a kick out of petting a calf.
Our Halloween Jack o lanterns.
I had all sorts of ideas, but then Eric ended up working. I only had a costume done for Lilli, so we didn't go trick or treating, just turned on The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and handed candy out to everyone that came by. Of course the kids all had plenty for themselves! Lilli actually complained of a stomachache toward the end of the night so I was glad we hadn't gone out and gathered out lbs of the stuff. I promised Lilli we would go next year, or maybe Eric's schedule will allow us to go to the ward trunk or treat! Lilli felt pretty sad when she saw all the kids out in their costumes.
