Subterfuge

As long as I've been blogging I've had a personal rule to always blog at least once a week. Especially since we live so far from family and chances are it will be like that for a very long time. Since I've obviously neglected this blog recently this is the main reason why: 1. We updated our operating system after four years (We use Linux) and I had to figure out how to get pictures of the camera.. Serves us right for waiting so long! It's a lot fancier which is nice, but hard for someone like me that is not techy at all! I've also been super tired, more then normal. I did find out that I have low platelets so that explained a lot.
Jared and his Finding Nemo sweater hood! Cute isn't it?
Cabbage hats, I know I've mentioned these before. The kids never get tired of them!
I took a few shots to get a good one to update this blog header.
Haha, I love the look on Carmi's face!

We LOVE Craigslist! Eric found this old shabby looking dresser for free (Sorry no before pictures) He had a lot of fun sanding it down and repainting.

He even got a stencil and put L's on one side and C's on the other so the girls could identify which drawers were their's.

Jared found a very comfortable spot to take a nap!
Oh hi! Yep, I'm still here :)

We finally took the girls to spend birthday money. Lilli picked a Minnie mouse coloring book with stickers and a giant dora the explorer coloring book and Carmi picked Strawberry Shortcake and a new baby (not pictured)! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Evans!
Lilli posing with Minnie! Gotta love the hair in her eyes. She has been very insistent all year that she wants to grow out her hair and bangs. It drives me crazy but it's getting better. I think by the end of the year she should be able to tuck it behind her ears.

Fall is finally here! After a couple of false starts of course.
A fun (but chilly) day at the park
Jared's little nose and hands were so cold after an hour that we finally went and sat in the car while watching the girls and waiting for Eric to come back from his ramble in the woods.
