Seeing The Sites

We decided to take advantage of cooler temperatures and go out exploring in KC.
Here's a view of the skyline from the World War I Memorial
The Memorial
Hope you like the glimpse of my super white legs (just call me Edward Jr.!!)
Here's Carmi in front of the museum. We didn't go inside this time, just enjoyed the grounds.
And Lilli
This is a view of the wall if you climb down a gazillion stairs down below the monument.
There were some words engraved along with all the pictures, maybe another time we can capture them in the picture.
A shot of the girls down at the bottom. If you look at the grass behind them it gives you a good idea of how everyone's lawns are looking these days. Hopefully the drought doesn't continue on and we have a nice wet winter.

We walked up the street to The Crown Center. It's a super fun place with shopping, lots of food, hotels, an aquarium, legoland, and a lot of other stuff. It's also very close to the Hallmark main headquarters, they have a visitors center and tours.
This time we headed to a dinosaur exhibit. The girls had a blast.
They had some dinosaur eggs that Lilli especially loved. She wasn't too happy when some other kids came in after us and played with "her eggs"

An "engineering" masterpiece....or something like that.

Eric snapped a few pictures on our walk back to the car.
