Wherever we go there must be record breaking snow, that's what I've decided! We ended up getting about 7 inches of snow all at once, VERY unusual for Seattle. They don't usually get more then two inches at a time. Nobody here owns a snow shovel. The city is not prepared to clean up the roads...yeah. In our little community there were maybe four shoveled driveways! Our street was not cleaned up at all. And then it rained, which put a big coat of ice over all the snow. It made me think of the big ice storms we used to get in Philly. (Meanwhile, my friend that lives in Logan, UT posted pictures of the "springlike weather" they were having) CRAZY!!!
Eric and Lilli ventured out and cleaned off the car, they also built a snowman (pictured at the end).
The girls were so happy to go out in the cold. We ventured out to the mailbox over the slushy icy snow. It was quite the trek.
On our walk to the mailbox Lilli knocked the icicles off about a dozen cars...hope nobody minded! lol
A LOT of ice was eaten in the hour we were outside!
And there is the snowman...(since this picture was taken it has warmed up to 40+ degrees, 80% of the snow has melted, and Mr. Snowman has almost gone away).
