A Visit to Roosevelt

When I found out several months ago that my sister Amanda was planning a visit to my parents I decided I wanted to come as well. Eric didn't have time off to I braved the airport with the kids. We arrived at the airport around 6 am in the 14th, which I assumed would be in plenty of time to get through security and get to our gate before it left at 7:15. Well unfortunately between the time I checked in and the time I arrived at the gate the flight time changed and they left ten minutes early. We got on standby and were able to get the next flight, for which I was grateful. We met a lot of nice people that thought the girls were adorable and helped entertain them.

Jared got lots of love and snuggles with Aunt Jeanne.
The girls played "ballerina"
Then Auntie M joined them.

The girls had a lot of fun with Aunt Marianne (Auntie M).

We went over to see Nelson.
The girls had fun playing dress up with Auntie M's shirts.

Carmen playing dress up
I just had to laugh at this one, Carmi with that look on her face and Lilli sneezing in the background!
Jared had some fun with Grandpa's shoe laces after church.
Grandma rocked Jared to sleep.
Unfortunately Lilli, Carmi and I were all hit with some sort of bug. Carmi and I on Sunday, then Lilli on Monday.
Carmi fell asleep during dinner.
lol
I'm still not quite sure how Carmi got cream cheese frosting in her hair like that!
Auntie M with my nephew Glenn. I love the "nose warmer"
The girls went on several walks with Uncle Paul and Glenn, with various other people. By the end of our visit Carmen wouldn't stop saying "Uncle Paul, Uncle Paul!"
Jared got the vacuum cord and played until he was completely exhausted!
Awwwww
Aunt Jeanne and Carmi, my girls sure love their aunts!
Aunt Jeanne and Jared
Carmi and Grandma
Lilli and Aunt Jeanne. Lilli actually asked Jeanne if she could be her "new Mom"
Lilli, Carmi and Jared with Grandma and Grandpa Evans

It's always great to spend time with family, but I do hope this is the only time I take the children to the airport by myself!
